The Wallaceburg Advisory Team for a Cleaner Habitat or "WATCH" is a community
advisory group for Wallaceburg, Ontario and surrounding area regarding
environmental quality, protection and restoration as well as emergency response.
Our objectives are:
- To represent the community regarding environmental issues in dealing with
government, business, industry and other organizations.
- To continually promote waste and pollution reduction in all aspects of
life.
- To collect and disseminate information regarding environmental protection
and emergency response.
- To promote training and leadership opportunities for members and the
community in dealing with the goals of WATCH.
- To advocate the prudent care of the environment for our children and
grandchildren by promoting sustainable economic growth in an environmentally
conscience manner.
- To enhance and promote the public images of Wallaceburg and surrounding
areas regarding the environment and economic issues.
- To advise and support those affected by environmental degradation and
emergency crises.
- To associate with and assist other groups with similar purposes to those
of WATCH.
